Pediatric
Chiropractic
Our gentle approach often provides life-changing results for families struggling with colicky infants or chronically sick kids to sensory and spectrum challenges. Our Doctors are Webster Certified, and have completed extensive post-doctoral training in neurologically focused pediatric chiropractic care.

Pediatric chiropractic is essential for many babies and children.
Common reasons parents will bring their babies to our office are:
- Colic
- Constipation
- Ear infections
- Nursing/latching issues
- Reflux
- Sleep issues
- Torticollis

There is a growing amount of evidence that indicates subtle spinal misalignments in newborns, as a result of in-utero constraint (improper positioning of baby in-utero) and/or birth strain, creates tension within their delicate nervous systems. This “tension” can result in a number of different symptoms, such as the ones listed above.
The role of the pediatric chiropractor is to gently assess and correct these tiny misalignments (using equally tiny pressure) to allow your baby’s body and nervous system to return to balance. Optimal health exists within a balanced nervous system.
Our gentle prenatal chiropractic techniques
Children and babies require a completely different type of adjustment than adults. The techniques used in pediatric chiropractic are gentle and do not involve any forceful movements. Instead, our team locates specific contact points at the areas of the spine indicated in your child’s exam, delivering gentle pressure to the needed area. Most babies sleep through their adjustments, it’s that gentle!

What to expect
Your first visit
Your child’s first visit to the office will begin with an introduction to our kids room, where our goal is for both you and your child to be able to relax and have a little fun together!
We will be able to perform a baseline assessment of your child’s posture, reflexes, and motor patterns through observation and play. Depending on your child’s unique needs, we may need to do a more in-depth analysis of their spine and nervous system using thermography, sEMG, and/or X-ray. We will always communicate clearly with both the child and the parent if any of these additional tools are needed.

A major part of your child’s first visit and exam is a detailed history, which we ask about in their intake paperwork, and will address if necessary during the exam. Our goal during your child’s first visit is to determine first if we can help, and then come up with a specific plan based on your child’s unique history and needs.

Your second visit and beyond
Your child’s second visit and beyond will consist of chiropractic adjustments based on their unique needs. We value the power of play as a healing modality, so your child’s appointments will take place in our kid’s room. We have specifically designed this room to have a wide range of activities and toys for children of all ages to be able to relax and enjoy their time in our office!
Another essential part of our pediatric chiropractic care is providing parents with all the information they need concerning health and wellness. From child nutrition and exercise to ADD/ADHD, and stress reduction, or anything else, we are committed to providing you with complete wellness education that gives you the answers you need!
What our patients are saying
Antoniotti Chiropractor was wonderful!! I took my 7 month old to see them and they were kind, gentle, honest and caring. They put us all at ease and made me feel like they really cared about the well being of my child and took the time to listen to all my concerns and come up with a plan. I would give them 100 stars if I could!

Worth every penny! My baby was having reflux, favoring one side of her head, and not sleeping. Dr. Kate was personable and seemed to know exactly how to help. She has such a warm and welcoming personality. She was very gentle with my 4-month-old. The office was very clean and well-kept. Her chiropractic knowledge of infants and children was very comforting.

My kids get adjusted here as well and I couldnt pick a better couple of people to help my family out. I recommend them any time I can! Very easy to make appointments and be seen on a regular basis or as needed.
