“I want to feel ready, prepared, and confident” – this is what we hear every pregnant woman we work with say, as they think about their upcoming birth experience.
To help expecting families achieve their desire for an empowered birth: our office has teamed up with the perfect person with the knowledge, experience and expertise: to educate our community.
Our office is hosting a 3 hour workshop: Designed for Birth – taught by Ingrid Williams, RN, DONA Certified Birth Doula, Spinning Babies Certified Parent Educator. Ingrid has over 35 years of experience as a Labor and Delivery nurse and a passion for educating expecting mothers on the birth process, as they prepare their body and mind for Birth.
This workshop offers hands-on instruction for you and your support person to practice techniques to balance your body, optimize pelvic alignment, and up-level your confidence as you prepare for birth.
Part of our mission here at Antoniotti Chiropractic is to empower families to optimize their health. Birth is an incredible opportunity to step into *your power* as you pave the way for your baby to thrive.
Some of what we will cover together:
As your body does the incredible work of growing a tiny human, discomfort can keep you from enjoying your daily activities. The movements we cover in this class are incredible for creating space and inviting ease and comfort within the body starting at 20 weeks all the way to labor.
Side-Lying Release
This Spinning Babies technique is great for pelvic mobility, to make room for the baby to turn into a better position and to ease pain in pregnancy and birth.
You can read more about the Side-Lying Release here.
The Forward Leaning Inversion
This classic Spinning Babies movement is known for making room for optimal fetal position by untwisting any ligaments to the lower uterus and cervix. This technique may also reduce back pain, hip pain or tailbone pain during pregnancy!
You can read more about the benefits and how-to’s of this movement here.
The Jiggle
A deliberate, small jiggling of the thigh or buttock area to facilitate a calming and pain-reducing sensation. This Exercise can activate the parasympathetic nervous system, which helps to restore optimal function to the lower part of the uterus and can potentially lead to fetal rotation.

We have seen successful VBAC deliveries, comfortable home births and confident mothers born from our participants of this workshop and we are so honored to continue bringing this resource to our community. Visit the Events & Workshops Page to stay informed of our next workshop date!
